Based in the Greater New York Area, holding a B.A. in Human Rights from Bard College, where he was recognized with the Posse Foundation Full-Tuition Leadership Scholarship. He is fluent in Spanish and English, with proficiency in French, and has extensive experience in immigration law. As a paralegal at Central American Legal Assistance he played a crucial role in assisting hundreds of clients with asylum and immigration applications, enhancing case management processes, and conducting legal research to ensure compliance with regulations.
In addition to his legal work, Edwar has demonstrated strong leadership skills in various organizational roles. He served as the Administrative Coordinator for the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, where he managed corporate communications and coordinated major events for over 1,400 members. His efforts in these roles contributed to the successful promotion of corporate social responsibility and the strengthening of community relationships.
In 2023, Edwar founded the Brooklyn Up-and-Coming Startup Hub (BUSH), an initiative that quickly grew to become a key networking platform for emerging businesses. Under his leadership, BUSH organized over 20 events and significantly increased membership and collaboration among startups. Edwar’s ability to drive community engagement and foster partnerships has established him as a dynamic leader in both the legal and entrepreneurial spheres.
